Our Product Warranty & Guarantee
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You’re also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. As part of the warranty process, you may be asked to take photos and answer some questions that relate to the operation of the unit and problems you may have been experiencing with the unit.
Our Warranty covers the owner of the product for a period of 3 years from the date of sale on the bolt work and body of the safe, 1 year on all mechanical locks and 1 year on the electronics. In the event of a Defiance Safe locking system, lock or electronic system no longer functioning, Defiance Safe Co will be happy to provide you with a service and/or replacement of faulty parts. If a service agent is not available in the area, full technical support and parts will be available.
If a service agent is asked to look at a warranty issue and has found that either foul play or misuse has taken place, all charges will be passed onto the client and possible cancellation of warranty. If required, Defiance Safe Co reserves the right to select the method of warranty. E.g. Repair or Replacement. If replacement is required, then the faulty unit is to be packed up into a state fit for shipping and help provided to load the unit onto the freight transport. Defiance Safe Co must arrange any appointments necessary with respect to warranty.
